World-class tennis at affordable prices at Tata Open Maharashtra

Tata Open Maharashtra organisers today announced the prices for tickets for the second edition of the ATP World Tour event to be held from December 31, 2018 to January 5, 2019. Spectators who wish to witness world-class action at the Mhalunge Balewadi Stadium, Pune will have to pay as little as Rs. 150 to begin with.

Tickets will be available on Zoonga.com, the tournament's official ticketing partners.

Tata Open Maharashtra tournament director Prashant Sutar said, "After seeing such fabulous turnout on the last few days of the previous edition, we want the fans to come in similar numbers through the entire duration of the tournament. For anyone who wants to witness some great tennis, it should be an affordable and good alternative to other entertainment propositions in the city."

Rs. 150 will give spectators a seat in A and E stands, B, D and H stands are priced at Rs. 250 while C and G stands will come at Rs. 750. Season tickets will attract a 30% discount on the price for each category.

The organisers have also earmarked exclusive Corporate Boxes situated closer to the action which will include hospitality.

The tournament started in 1996 and was held in Chennai for 21 years. In 2018, the tournament shifted to Pune, Maharashtra. World no. 6 Kevin Anderson, World No. 7 and former US Open champion Marin Cilic and Frenchman and defending champion Gilles Simon are among the top names to feature in this year's competition.
